The negative connotation about money has been subconsciously engrained in most people from childhood. The doctrine of lack or abundance is taught at a very young age by parents, without realising their manifestation of the financial mindset of their offspring in later years.

I am sure we have all heard growing up that “money don’t grow on trees” or “you must work hard to earn money”.

While there is a mite of truth to these negative innuendos about money, what is not taught is that these statements or remarks are speaking into existence, the habit or lifestyle of lack and scarcity.

What you have a pessimistic view of, you generally resent or at least see from a tedious perspective. In other words, what you resent is ultimately of no importance. So if money is of little significance to you, you don’t go out to seek ways of how to create it.

It is consensus of opinion that we all need money to live and are taught to “work hard” for money, which 85% of the world’s population end up doing.

Selling a huge portion of your time and human capital for typically less than you are worth, just to keep the bills paid (and save a little) because that’s what we were told to do.

When money is important, you find a way to create a system that generate streams of resources in abundance, without having to depend on someone else or an entity to live.

One of the most exuberating experience is having to make life choices without having to consider costs.

Typically, poor or middle class people don’t see money as important, as long as they have their immediate needs met with a little left over for leisure. At best, they see money as an opportunity to buy and consume things.

The wealthy have a more positive approach to money. Just the thought of having the ability to buy anything they want, is way more satisfying than actually making the purchase.

Money or the lack thereof is the number one cause of stress according Apa’s Pscychology Of Money Stress.

When I hear people say money is not important or “is the root of evil”, it clearly says to me they don’t know the statistics and only think of the material things money can buy.

Good stewards of money see it as the freedom to do what they want, how and when they want, especially in service of others.

Just take a moment to imagine if money were not an issue, I am sure you would be able to provide good and proper medical help for those in need, homes to the destitute or perhaps cover litigation cost to those who cannot afford one.

Study show those who give to others are happier and less stressed about life in general. Financial constraint individuals are less able to serve effectively as those with abundance of resources.

So the question is, is money important to you?
