Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Before we take a deep dive on why rules must be broken to achieve success, it is imperative to note that breaking rules is not the same as breaking the law.

Although in order to be truly successful there are set of laws that must be adhered, this does not negate the disparity in their meaning and how they are applied and measured in our society at large.

Albeit a great part of it, success is not all financial. It is the fulfilment of an original purpose intended, in small increments.

Hardwork on its own does not guarantee success either. As a result, life changing success is a by-product of hardwork if only certain laws are applied and almost all rules circumvented.

Success is the journey to your purpose and most importantly, what you become in the process of achieving your goals. As many have discovered in such journey, society create rules on how people should think and behave in a docile manner to fit its agenda. This have been passed down from generations, making it almost impossible to dare outside the norm, as it is seen as weird or an anomaly.

It is every human right to be abundantly successful, it is supported by the good book (Joshua 1-8). However, the abundance of success is not necessarily in the best interest of anyone or systems in control, hence there are certain measures in place to dissuade success and promote dependency.

You cannot pray for success either. It simply doesn’t work. Why? Because if we follow the blueprint, majority of truly successful individuals don’t believe in a divine intervention as the reason why they succeed in life, even though it helps to align with one’s spirituality. Intentional and strategic planning couple with some basic fundamentals are often times cited.

Laws that must be obeyed in order to achieve success include order, standards, values and principles. These are the ultimate keys to become successful and cultivate relationships.

Violating any of these laws will guarantee your failure even if it seems you are winning. But for some reasons, laws are the easiest to break.

Rules, also referred to as tradition or status quo, are inconsequential for the most part. These are the hardest human habits or behaviour that are the hardest to break. They are man made limitations or boundaries created and generally acceptable as the benchmark of “normal” behaviour.

For example, there was a time when computers were desktops only. A visionary named Steve Jobs asked why we cannot have the computers in our pockets?  Everyone thought he was crazy and they said there was no way possible to fit a computer in one’s pocket.

The rest as they say is history.

In order to be truly successful, you must break the rules to set another one. All boundaries must be shattered to achieve greatness which often times is met with resistance. Focus and persistence are needed to push limits, if persevered, success is guaranteed.
