Blog 76: Paradigm- How Does It Affect Wealth Building?

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Paradigm simply means what you already know in a nutshell.

It is a mindset that have in instilled over time by means of repetition. There are primarily two sources where our paradigm is designed, from our parents at birth and the environment.

It is imperative to note that the womb from which a child is born and their surroundings, are key components that ultimately determine the trajectory or outcome of the child.

If your parents have a poor or rich mindset, their child will typically be programmed that way subconsciously. The same goes for the environment and surrounding where the child is raised and nurtured.

A violent or peaceful surrounding is highly influential to an impressionable young boy or girl, and when this cycle have been repeated up until the child develop into their pre-teen, it is almost impossible to teach them otherwise.

So what happens when that child is now a full grown adult and starts to think for him or herself?

This is where cognitive dissonance set in. Cognitive dissonance is where, what you have know to be true all your life, is met with the reality of how wrong you have been all along.

Majority of our parents and the environment we grew up in know absolutely nothing about finance and how it really work. You cannot teach someone what you don’t know.

Instead parents teach their kids to get the highest paying job they can get. Not that there’s anything wrong with working for a living, but physically going to work for money is the most unsafe way to earn a living, especially if it is your only source of income.

Can you imagine telling an adult who has been subconsciously programmed from birth, that he or she can instead make money while they are sleeping, instead of going to work for it?

Changing one’s paradigm is important to wealth building, when you have not been been in an environment of wealth builders from birth.

Paradigm consist of multitude of habits. A habit is an idea or behaviour that have been deposited in your subconscious mind repeatedly over a long period of time.

Your paradigm controls your behaviour which ends up controlling your perception of situations.

If you want to change your life in any way, shape or form, you must change your paradigm of inertia.
