Blog 76: Lil Nas X Comes Out As Gay and His Song ‘Old Town Road’ Went Diamond The Same Day.

I never thought I would see the day a black country singer/rapper would permeate the country charts but Lil Nas X did not only shattered the glass ceiling, he ripped the scripts and re-wrote the rules that anything is possible when he first sang over video game’s country music theme.

The music (Old Town Road) was so infectious that DJs started playing it across the clubs and eventually went viral which forced the country music genre to take notice of this 21 year old phenomenon.

Intially it charted in the Country Music chart but the outcry from country music enthusiasts forced the music to be taken down as it was deemed ‘not country enough’.

Blog 76: Jay Z Gives $10 Million Legal Assistance to Family Held At Gun Point.

After been announced as the first Hip Hop billionaire last week, Jay Z extended his generousity to a family who needed it to say the least. Dravon Ames, Iesha Harper and their two children were held in police gun point in Phoenix, Arizona as they thretened to shoot as it was alleged one of the children took a toy from a store without paying for it.
